Discovering Miraloop Radio: Cinematica

Data di pubblicazione 05/02/2021

Introduced in 2008, Radio Miraloop is our raw diamond, the trump card of the four labels branded Miraloop Records where you can listen to more than 1000 songs round-the-clock!
But what is it that you can actually find in Miraloop's radio schedule? Streaming nonstop music, our radio offers a huge quantity of different programs covering different music genres from cinema soundtracks, to pop, rock, electronic and classical music from both national and international artists! And do you know what's even better? You will listen to songs entirely made by Miraloop Records!

Today we want to dive deep down into the magical world of Cinematica, the most varied program of Radio Miraloop's schedule, with 4 different editions accompanying you throughout every phase of your day. The Sunrise Edition, on air from 7AM to 8AM and the High Noon Edition from 1PM to 2PM will keep you company durinng the most delicate hours of the day: the early morning and lunch break. Cinematica will then be back when the evening comes in its Dinner Edition, on air from 8PM to 9PM, and in its Night Edition from midnight to 1AM.

Cinematica could be defined as the ace in the hole of the Miraloop Diamonds team. In fact, produced by the label represented by the diamond sign of the cards, this collection contains the most pop notes related to music for images. Didn’t see that coming, huh? Finding a collection of this particular type of music in a radio is our move to effect you and that is why Cinematica will take you to a world that you did not expect to find when opening the site of Miraloop Radio. Let’s face it: how many times, while watching a film, did you think that a certain scene would have much less effect without all the background music? Also recently, during the spring lockdown, a guy climbed on his balcony overlooking Piazza Navona in Rome and, along with his electric guitar, cheered the whole neighborhood with the notes of the famous Deborah’s Theme (Once upon a time in America) composed by the genius of Ennio Morricone. Those notes have definitely left their mark not only in the history of cinema, but also in those of music and it is undeniable the feeling of wonder and ecstasy that pervades the ear of the listener. Who knows that you don’t find something equally sublime even in our collection of soundtracks?

As if that wasn’t enough, in addition to original soundtracks, Cinematica also offers a selection of jazz and minimal pieces, with a particular focus on the piano. These sounds are generally based on the extreme reduction of traditional music material with variations depending on the composer. Usually, they are characterized by sounds with a rather uniform and tonal tone, without a harmony defining the musical structure that allows the notes to move freely on the staff, changing continuously but imperceptibly thanks to the repetitions and rhythmic overlaps of melodic cells which, often and willingly, result in particularly complex sound tissues. Obviously, all this does not prevent even the listener with a less cultured ear to be able to appreciate the catalog of Cinematica thanks to its sounds that leave you the freedom to imagine what you want, making every listening a unique and different journey for everyone.

If you like Cinematica's selection do not forget to follow Miraloop Records - Diamonds on our Facebook and Youtube channels where you can enjoy the entire catalog song after song, in a large music collection.
